Isaiah 40:9-11

The Greatness of God

9 Go on up to a high mountain,
O Zion, cherald of good news;
Or  O herald of good news to Zion

lift up your voice with strength,
O Jerusalem, herald of good news;
Or  O herald of good news to Jerusalem

lift it up, fear not;
say to the cities of Judah,
Behold your God!”
10 fBehold, the Lord God comes with might,
and his arm rules for him;
gbehold, his reward is with him,
and his recompense before him.
11 hHe will tend his flock like a shepherd;
ihe will gather the lambs in his arms;
jhe will carry them in his bosom,
and gently lead those that are with young.

Isaiah 52:7

7 kHow beautiful upon the mountains
are the feet of him who brings good news,
who publishes peace, lwho brings good news of happiness,
who publishes salvation,
who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.”

Zechariah 12:10

Him Whom They Have Pierced
